The committee said that they are very happy for the club to help. Obviously
any trip will be weather dependent. Several longstanding club members, who
knew Eric, said that they would be very willing to help and to liaise with
you over arrangements.
With regard to your brother diving with the club, he would need to do a pool
assessment with our diving officer (Julian Avis who knew Eric well and dived
with him many times) prior to the trip.
This is normal club procedure for any non-club member diving from our boat –
a requirement for insurance purposes.
I understand that the pool we use is opening sometime soon so we just need
you/your brother to liaise with us re possible dates. We use the Cheam
Leisure Centre – location shown on our web site where you found our contact
form.
If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to contact me in the first
instance.

Intention was maybe my brother could dive with you he has his certificates
the rest would wave him off from Marina end. There would be one scatter tube
unusual request I know maybe to be done mid September?

diving assessment when we first joined the club many years ago!!
I’ve passed your request to the committee and they are sure we can do
something to help but they need to discuss the details as it isn’t something
we have done before.
Do you have any idea about what you would want, how many people may be
involved etc as that may help with the discussion.
I believe there is a meeting in the next couple of weeks so if you could get
back to me before then it would be good.
