Dear All.
I had a look at the boat today and the cause of the breakdown has been
found and repaired. One of the fuses in the engine had blown (not
visible when we checked them in the rain and a busy sea). Simpson Marine
said that this fuse could blow if the battery cables were loose, one
battery wire was found to be a little loose. I have 2 spare fuses in the
fuse pot in the yellow canister and one in under the fuse lid under the
engine..
The radio is fully working now as I have re-made the aerial connection.
