Hi Alan

Thank you. I didn't know the details that far in advance I'm afraid so I assumed that anyone who had said they would be available would be. Re next week, I still do not know the details yet either - the school are still trying to get them - so my hands are tied.

Dear All

The try dive is tomorrow.   Julian is now unable to be there and we need 6
instructors to take try divers  in the water.  I suggest the following -
please could you each confirm that you are ok for it.  In particular, please
let me know asap if you can't make it.

Stuart, Charlie, Alan S, Paul, Bryan, Jordan.

Other helpers "dry side" to help with kitting up and hosting spectatators
would be much appreciated.

Dear Andrew

I hope this finds you well.

Please find below the promised list of cadets and sizing information for the
first group of cadets participating in the try dive on 23rd January at Cheam
Baths. I can confirm that I have all their required documentation. I'm
afraid there's not a lot of difference in sizes as these are all from the
same year group. Please let me know if this is a problem.

I'm still trying to get paperwork sorted with the second group (hence
they're in the second group), due to dive on 30th January. I will get their
details to you ASAP.

I will be at the baths next Monday to meet and supervise cadets. I look
forward to seeing you , if you're there. If you're unlikely to be there,
please let me know who I need to liaise with.

Hi Bob

Happy new year and I hope you had a good Christmas.

These dates seem to work for us so happy to go ahead with those.  I will
need details of shoe and "t-shirt" sizes in advance so that we can gather
the right size kit together.  If you could get those to me sooner rather
than later that would be a real help.

The intention would be to do about 6 try dives on each of the 2 weeks so the
numbers you quote seem to work ok.  We will also need confirmation that none
of them have any ailments (including the common cold), or medical conditions
or any medication they are on.  The parents will have to sign a medical form
and disclaimer before any child under 18 is allowed to dive. They will also
need to complete an Activity Consent form.  I attach copies â€“ if these can
be completed in advance and brought on the night it will help save some
time.

All participants should be at the leisure centre to meet us in the foyer by
20.30 on the night so that we can organise kit, collect forms and give them
a briefing.  That should mean they can make the most of the pool time we
have from 21.00.  Each participant must bring their own normal swimming togs
and Â£1 coins for the lockers.  They may also find it more comfortable if
they have an old T short to wear, though that is not essential.  We have to
be out of the pool by 22.00 so, after changing etc, they should be ready to
leave by about 22.30. A participants get an info pack and, if you let us
have the names in advance, a certificate.  Family and friends are very
welcome to watch from the viewing gallery and will be able  to talk to other
club members.

pool from 21.00 to 22.00 but everyone would  need to arrive at 20.30 so that
we could sort out paperwork, brief them and get the right size kit for them.
We would be able to cope with about 6 at a time so if there were more than

Andrew.

Looking at the size list we will be needing 5 small sets and one Medium.

In stock I have 5 regs,

1 medium jacket and 3 small jackets.

4 small and one 12 l cylinder.

We therefore need the following kit returned for the two week period :-

The jacket that Marks son (Owen) is currently using (small Scubapro)
One of your (Andrew) cylinder.
The kit that Michael Oliphant is using (small jacket, cylinder and regs).
Michael knows this is needed.

We will then have all the necessary kit.

Regards

Many thanks, that is really helpful especially that you have all the
documentation already done which will save time on the day.  Hopefully the
number of small sizes required won’t be a problem but I will let
you know if it is once I have checked with our equipment officer.

I am intending to be at the pool on Monday so look forward to seeing you
there at around 20.30.

Regards

We are having a Try Dive for boys from Rutlish School both this Monday and
30 Jan (Tim -  note we are sticking with the 2 days)  Details of the
students doing the Try Dive are attached.

From previous emails we seem to have more than enough Instructors
available, which is great.  Names I have are as below.  Jenny and I are
happy not to be in the water but to  help with dry side.  If anyone else
can’t now make it could you please let me know asap.

As usual anyone who can help dryside and talking to parents and friends
will be helpful.

Tim – are we OK with enough kit, especially re the small jackets
and fins?

Paul has got plenty of souvenir packs to hand out – Paul do you
need certificates printing or is that all  OK?

George has offered to do photos but usually they are not  permitted in the
pool when it open to  the public.  I will  contact the manager again to
see if we can get a dispensation but they have been quite firm in the
past.

Colin has agreed for his group to give these weeks a miss so hopefully
that will  help with overcrowding.

Dear Andrew

I hope this finds you well.

Please find below the promised list of cadets and sizing information for
the first group of cadets participating in the try dive on 23rd January at
Cheam Baths. I can confirm that I have all their required documentation.
I'm afraid there's not a lot of difference in sizes as these are all from
the same year group. Please let me know if this is a problem.

I'm still trying to get paperwork sorted with the second group (hence
they're in the second group), due to dive on 30th January. I will get
their details to you ASAP.

The intention would be to do about 6 try dives on each of the 2 weeks so
the numbers you quote seem to work ok.  We will also need confirmation
that none of them have any ailments (including the common cold), or
medical conditions or any medication they are on.  The parents will have
to sign a medical form and disclaimer before any child under 18 is allowed
to dive. They will also need to complete an Activity Consent form.  I
attach copies – if these can be completed in advance and brought on
the night it will help save some time.

All participants should be at the leisure centre to meet us in the foyer
by 20.30 on the night so that we can organise kit, collect forms and give
them a briefing.  That should mean they can make the most of the pool time
we have from 21.00.  Each participant must bring their own normal swimming
togs and Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£1 coins for the lockers.  They may also find it more
comfortable if they have an old T short to wear, though that is not
essential.  We have to be out of the pool by 22.00 so, after changing etc,
they should be ready to leave by about 22.30. A participants get an info
pack and, if you let us have the names in advance, a certificate.  Family
and friends are very welcome to watch from the viewing gallery and will be
able  to talk to other club members.

pool from 21.00 to 22.00 but everyone would  need to arrive at 20.30 so
that we could sort out paperwork, brief them and get the right size kit

arrange for them not to be there that week otherwise it gets too crowded.

What I'll do, if okay with you, is put a notice out to gauge interest but
won't give specific dates at the moment, just stating that arrangements
will be as per last time i.e groups of six on a Monday night at Cheam

We can certainly do something for you again.  I can't recall off the top

new pool was useless for scuba so we are now at Cheam Leisure Centre.  Not
that far away so hopefully not a problem for you.  Realistically we can

Thank you. What I'll do, if okay with you, is put a notice out to gauge interest butwon't give specific dates at the moment, just stating that arrangements willbe as per last time i.e groups of six on a Monday night at Cheam Baths. I'lljust say that it will be in the spring term.RegardsBobIn a message dated 17/11/

I can't recall off the top ofmy head which pool you came to. We used to be at Banstead Leisure centrebut when they moved into their new premises earlier this year the new poolwas useless for scuba so we are now at Cheam Leisure Centre. Not that faraway so hopefully not a problem for you. Realistically we can cope withabout 6 at a time but could do multiple weeks or something if you had morethan that. I am off out of the country tomorrow for a couple of weeks socan't do anything else at the moment but can sort something out when I getback. Realistically it is going to be a date in the new year sometime sohope that is ok for you.All the bestAndrewAndrew HubbardMob: 07990 595625 <tel:07990%20595625>Sent from my iPadOn 16 Nov 2016, at 17:48, RPenny@xxxxxxx <mailto:RPenny@xxxxxxx> wrote:Dear AndrewI hope this e-mail finds you well. You m
ay recall that your dive club were kind enough to lay on some try-divesfor cadets from my CCF contingent in March of this year. I am currentlyplanning for next year and wondered if it might be possible to repeat thisfantastic experience for newer cadets. We have had a larger than averageintake of recruits this term so I imagine that uptake will be fairlyconsiderable. My questions are;1. Would your club be prepared to lay something similar on, and2. If so, how many can you realistically cope with?Thank you again for what you did this year and I look forward to hearingfrom you.Kind regardsBob PennySquadron Leader RAFVR(T)Contingent CommanderRutlish School CCFWatery LaneMerton ParkLondonSW20 9ADT: 020 8542 5881 <tel:020%208542%205881>F: 020 8337 0569 <tel:020%208337%200569>M: 07973 295578 <tel:07973%20295578>E: rpenny@xxxxxxx <mailto:rpenny@xxxxxxx>W: www.rutlishccf.org.uk <http://www.rutlishccf.org.uk/>No virus found in this message.Checked by AVG - www.avg.com <http://www.avg.com/>Ver
