Can I suggest meet at 8:00 tomorrow to get the boat ready, then breakfast, with
a view to launch at about 9:30?

Currently just four of us, so still space if anyone want to come along,
although pairs obviously preferable

Re diving over the next few days I spoke to Vix at the Boathouse Cafe today.
They are open from 08.00 on Saturday and she says as we are going down tomorrow
(Friday) she will get there at 08.30 for us.

Subject: Summer News from the Marina

Good morning from sunny Littlehampton, I hope you are well on this
lovely day?

I wanted to share a few bits of information and advice with you ahead
of the Summer.

1. The Boat House is extending their opening hours to: Friday and
Saturday 8 – 6pm and Sunday 9 – 5pm. Vix is hosting an all day art and craft
open air exhibition on Friday 24th July which will also include live music and
stalls. I believe there is going to be a bouncy castle too. Please pop along if
you are free.

2. One our dive clubs found an anchor whilst diving off a local
wreck, if anyone has lost one and thinks this might be theirs, please let me
know along with a description and where it was lost and I will pass your
details onto the person who currently has possession of it so we can try and
match you to it.

3. I’d like to remind customers that there is strictly no
decanting of fuel on the moorings or in the boat parks. I have received reports
of this going on and indeed have spotted some on the cameras. Please do not do
this.

4. The Harbour Board have asked me to remind you that there is a
speed limit of 6 ½ knots on the river and that Harbour Dues have to be paid by
all that use the River Arun. Please contact the Harbour Board on 01903 721215
if you have not done so to date.

5. Lastly, I have decided to host, in conjunction with The Boat
House, a Marina BBQ at 4 pm on Saturday 15th August. It would be lovely to see
as many people as possible there. Food is free for marina customers and
residents/tenants of the marina. Any additional guests will incur a small
charge. It’s been a great success in previous years and I would like to think
that it will be even better this year (as I am not cooking!!). I don’t need
confirmation of attendance but if you do want to email me, it would be greatly
appreciated!!!
