Recovery of Seasonal Race Buoys and Re-lit Navigation Marks Off
Littlehampton Harbour
MARINERS ARE ADVISED that seasonal race markers laid by the Arun Yacht Club
in the vicinity of Littlehampton Harbour have now been recovered.
In addition, lights marking the Arun District Council Meteorological Mast and
Southern Water Outfall Buoy have been re-lit.
Mariners should also be aware that the temporary buoy laid adjacent to the
wall collapse in Arundel has now been removed. All vessels transiting the
stretch of river between the A27 Arundel Bypass bridge and the Old Arundel
bridge in the town centre at Queen Street should be navigated at DEAD SLOW
and with NO WASH until further notice.
Owners, Agents, Charterers, Marinas, Yacht Clubs and Recreational Sailing
Organisations should ensure that the contents of this Notice are made known
to the masters or persons in charge of their vessels or craft.
