If any of your club are interested I am putting on another trip to Norway:
I have put together a trip to Norway for April 2017. The plan is:
Fly from Gatwick to Narvik via Oslo on 4 April. Diving for 5 days on board
'Jane R'. Two or three dives a day on the wrecks around Narvik. These are all
destroyers and merchant vessels sunk during the Batlle of Narvik in 1940. Fly
back to Gatwick on 10 April.
The time of year has been chosen because there should still be Northern lights,
there are a couple of hours of darkness and the water temperature is still cold
enough to provide the amazing visibility that you can get in the Fjords.
Accommodation will be in a self catering house. Food and drink in Norway is
very expensive so this will be catering on a 'muck in' basis. Within the cost
of the trip I have included some money to cover food and drink (not alcohol).
Hopefully it will be enough, but if we run out I will ask you to chip in.
The water temperature is around 2-3 degrees so this is not for the faint
hearted. But if you are up for it the wreck diving is second to none with
plenty of history, and some incedible dives on offer.
The cost of the trip will be £700 plus flights. The flight is Norwegian
airlines from Gatwick and the link to the flight page (which includes 2 bags -

The price is currently £211.00, but last week it was £194, so it does change.
BOOKING:
I need to know that we have enough people for this trip as it is a whole boat
booking so before you start getting your flights please confirm with me that
you want to go. I will need a deposit of £300 as soon as possible. I will need
final payment two weeks before we go so I can change it into Norwegian Krone.
There are only 12 spaces on this trip and it is being booked on a first come
first served basis. Phone calls and emails are preferred to putting your name
down on here.
