Hello hello, I apologize for the double email, but to avoid confusion I
think we'd all like to keep separate threads for very. serious. bylaws.
discussions and YAY THE ROBIE discussions! (smiley face).

Below, please find the forwarded message from Bill Sandberg, as well as the
attached NOR for the Robie Pierce and for the women's regatta. Bill's email
also mentions applications for housing, so mark that info down!

As far as teams go, I am happy to help match-make but of course prefer that
teams make themselves and use me as a final resource. If you're a sighted
guide available and don't have a team yet, let folks know! And if you've
never done the Robie, you're in for a treat. A certain Willi, Katherine,
and Leo will be defending their title from last year!

Once we've got some teams organized we will need some folks to help figure
out transit and housing logistics. If you're sick of winter and can't wait
to get going with sailing, let's hear it from you!

Hi Friends,
The moment you've been all Winter for is here, The Robie NORs are posted on
the website and attached here.
Buttons. Siobhan and I have been busy this year, highlighted by our trip to
Jacksonville where we received the Gay S. Lynn award for contributions to
disabled sailing. We could not have done it without you all, so our
sincerest thanks.
Since we all know sailors don't read, I want to point out two items.
First is housing. We will do our best to meet all housing needs, but can't
guarantee housing for all. The cutoff date is *MAY 17*- hope a certain
sailor in FL is reading this. It is first come first served, so I suggest
you contact Paula Fung at your earliest.
We have also made reservations at two local hotels, We have reserved 13 ADA
rooms (two with roll inn shower) at the Rye Town Hilot and 10 ADA rooms
(two with roll in shower) and the Rye Courtyard Marriott. When you call,
say you are coming to the Robie Pierce Regatta, These rooms, at special
prices are reserved until *May 8.*
We hope that in 2019, we can welcome back some old friends we haven't seen
in awhile. That means you Ricky Doerr, John Wallace an Jackie Gay, Hafsa
Char, Roger Cleworth, JP Ceignou, Jen French, Bob Jones, Mark Leblanc and
Johnny Ruf. Maybe some year we can even get Keith Burhans to change his
guy's weekend and join us. Most importantly, we hope to see Mike Hershey,
as by the end of May the Yankees will have likely clinched the division
title.
We look forward to seeing you in a few months. As we may have to borrow
some more boats, if you are even thinking of skippering, let me know, It is
not a binding entry.
