Thanks Matt, I plan on being in Sam Diego for the extreme sailing series. I
watched it last year. Very exciting and Harbor Island is the perfect venue for
this series. Also likely to have Santa Anna winds then too. I will forward to
Hiro. Did you get the info on his next Pacific crossing in Feb 2019? Bill

Hi, Folks. This just came across my email list. I've sent an email out
expressing interest. Also, could be a good way to network with sailors with
other disabilities, and a great way to promote our sport.--Matt.

Hello Everyone,
US Sailing Adaptive Sailing Programs Department recently received an email
asking to help spread the word about the International Hobie 16 TRAPSEAT
Class Cup.
The Extreme Sailing Series is coming to San Diego October 18-21, 2018 and
event organizers are putting together racing opportunities for Hobie 16
Trapseat sailors.
Racing will be held each day before the GC32's catamarans get on the water.
This is an event being held during the Extreme Sailing Series for Sailors
with disabilities.
Dennis Connor donated the trophy/cup being used for this particular event and
media coverage will be great.
Event organizers are looking for:
* sailors with disabilities to participate in the event
* volunteers to help with the event
* help spreading the word
We would like to introduce you to Miles Moore, coordinator for the Hobie 16
Trapseat Class participation in this event.
We are hoping you may be able to rally excitement, support, and sailors from
your group of friends and through your connections?
Please reach out to Miles with any questions or support you can offer at:
trapseatclass@xxxxxxxxx <mailto:trapseatclass@xxxxxxxxx>
This is a great opportunity for the adaptive racing community and sailors
with disabilities to be involved in a high profile event like this.
Thank you in advance,
Nancy
