Hello! We are testing out the new e-list, bubs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you reply
to this email it will go to everyone - be warned! Grace and Inky's emails
are included in the to line to make it easy to reply to one person as
needed.
Here is the practice schedule for this week, weather permitting. *Grace
will make the weather call by noon the day of the practice. If you don't
hear anything, there will be practice!*

We will be joining the Tuesday Rhodes fleet racing!

Tashtego will not be going to this Wednesday's PHRF race because it is a
harbor rumble out in Hingham Bay. Instead, we will have an informal
practice so sailors can get to know our new boat! This is a great time to
get a feel for winches, the whisker pole, and steering with a wheel instead
of a tiller.

We will do some "board talk" on land with a tactile board. On the water, we
will begin by practicing starts and sailing the course without engaging the
other boat, using ONLY the audible buoys - no guiding! We will blindfold
you if we have to! Towards the end of practice we may do a race where we
engage the other boats, and guides give headings and distance to the other
boat.
