It appears that we are having a good year for Rufous Hummingbirds. This the
word from Nancy Newfield regarding the south of the state and here I have found
4 so far, 1 in my yard and 3 in Mark Wilson's yard. We banded an immature male
Rufous Hummingbird in Mark's yard yesterday.
If you see a hummingbird of any species or hear of one, please contact me as I
am eager to band them.
