Harris's Sparrow retrapped at Hubert Hervey's farm this afternoon. I was originally banded as a male After Second Year bird in the same place on 7 March 2013 From: bsg-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bsg-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Hubert Hervey Sent: Monday, November 18, 2013 3:27 PM To: bird alert Subject: [bsg] Harris' Sparrow FOS BSG Members, Jim and his class are here at the Stonewall farm banding, and we have just caught the first Harris Sparrow I have seen this fall. It was a previously banded bird, I will provide those details later, adult male, I think at least 3 year age. The selasphorus hummer is still here and still unknown to species, just as Rufous/Allens. Not real regular, but certainly catchable. Gotta get back out and see what else is happening.
