Guys,
I’ve tried obtaining responses through Sports Engine on who’s in for the
Fall season. I wasn’t sure who Ed setup under the @freelists.org email, but
thought I’d give this a try.
Tom Bowers needs an answer by end of today whether or not we’re in as a team
for the Fall season:
• The Fall season will kick off on Sunday 10/11 and end on Wednesday 12/30.
We will NOT be raising our rates for at least the next two seasons or reduce
the number of games as we have been told many other ice and roller rinks
have been doing.
• 12 game reg season plus playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.
• $2000.00 to be paid in full before the season starts.
• WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING INDIVIDUAL PAYMENTS ANY LONGER UNLESS YOU ARE SIGNING
UP AS AN INDIVIDUAL TO BE PLACED ON A TEAM.
• Ref fees will be increasing this season and beyond as previously
discussed. $30 per game per team, in cash, to the scorekeeper.
• We will have a 15-minute break between games to allow for some ease on
traffic in the building....Our COVID plan will be re-sent out before the
beginning of the season to go over details like entrances and exits, masks,
temp checks, check-ins, and new waiver rules.
• We will have a condensed schedule because we can't fit as many games in a
night so there will be one Saturday game per team that is necessary
(schedule dependent) and we can only guarantee that 8 of your 12 games will
be on days/times that you request. Sundays will start at 2pm. the last game
will begin at 10:45. During the week, games will begin at 7pm and the last
game will begin at 10:45.
• If your team isn't playing but YOU still wish to play I will try to fit
you on a team for the Fall season. Please email me ASAP with the subject "I
still want to play!" so I can separate those emails more easily. Email:

If we can at least start with everyone responding whether they’re IN or OUT,
we can start to determine if we have a team for this coming season. Rick may
join in 2021 pending the status of things virus-related.
As indicated above, we’ll need to pay right away before the season starts
and one team payment. That means using Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, etc. to
make this work. If someone has a credit card with points that would like to
offer to make the team payment and get some benefit from $2000, please
speak up.
