The second electrical outage of today gave me the opportunity to sit at an open window in hopes of photographing some of the various birds that come daily to my feeders.
Despite the rain which has persisted off and on, this little male Bluebird returns numerous times daily to my suet feeders. He looks rain-soaked, but he doesn’t seem to mind. His mate is sitting on eggs in the bird box across the yard. I don’t have a good line of sight to the box, but I suspect this male is feeding the female because she never comes to the suet feeders.
