This morning at Roan Mtn (Carter Co):

4 species of locally breeding Empidonax flycatchers:
Acadian - 1 at 3550 ft (rather high elevation)
Alder - 1 at Carver's Gap
Willow - 1
Least - 8+

Pine Siskin - 1 singing at Carver's Gap - undoubtedly from Southern Appalachian
breeding population rather than northern irruptive population.
Canada Warbler - 10+
plus other usual suspects in spruce-fir forest & middle elevation hardwoods.
