[Bristol-Birds] recent sightings in NE Tennessee

Great Egret:  1 at Austin Springs on 7 July & 1 the next day near Bowmantown, 
both in Washington Co.
Osprey:  1 at Austin Springs on 2 & 10 July.

Bobolink:  a pair has been present in the Nolichucky River valley near Conklin, 
in Washington Co since early May & are suspected to be nesting.  The field they 
were first seen in was mowed for hay in late May, but they have been in an 
adjacent field since then and are being monitored.

Dickcissel:  1 or 2 pairs are still at the "regular" site in Limestone, at the 
jct. of Old St. Rt. 34 & Taylor Mill Rd, where they have occurred the last 8 
years!

Savannah & Grasshopper Sparrows, Blue Grosbeak:  fairly numerous in Washington 
Co.

Last but not least, a Black Bear crossed the hwy along Watauga Lake on 23 June.
