At dusk this evening, while watching at least nine Northern Harriers over a
broomsedge field along Hwy 348 near the intersection with Oakwood Rd., I saw
beyond them a flock of eight geese flying - two "blue" Snow Geese, and six
white
geese with black wingtips. One of the six white birds was noticeably smaller
than the rest, possibly a Ross's or Ross'sXSnow hybrid. They settled in or
near Lick Creek behind some trees.
