The cold front which blew through here last night grounded fewer
migrants than anticipated. Few ducks or other waterbirds were found at
Boone Lake (Washington & Sullivan Cos.) or at South Holston Lake
(Sullivan Co.).

However, a juv. Am. Golden-Plover at Musick's on South Holston Lake was
a pleasant surprise.

Other sightings:
Com. Loon - 16
Merlin - 1
Rusty Blackbird - 1+
(all these at Boone L.)
