GREAT NEWS!!!

We have an excellent forecast for Santa's journey to the Bristol Bird Club Christmas Party. I have heard that he is now employing a 4WD SUV to facilitate his deliveries (of course he still uses Rudolph to guide his sleigh in the northern climes and when he encounters deep snow), but he won't need it this weekend.

From the National Weather Service:
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 42.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 27.

Make your plans. Our host, Mike Poe, has been seen sprucing up his home and Bristol-Birders are looking forward to an evening of good fellowship and fun. Santa and his helpers have been busy. Have you been a good birder? Santa's "making a list and checking it twice" --- Santa's a lister!!!! Wonder how many life birds he has?

Mike's house is at 730 Robinwood Road. Coming from I-81, take the Sam's/Airport Exit, turn onto the Airport Parkway toward the airport. Just before getting to the airport, take TN 75 East (RIGHT turn). Just past the turn to Boone Dam, turn RIGHT onto Robinwood. There is a "fork" about 2/10 of a mile, take a RIGHT to stay on ROBINWOOD. About 4/10 further to Mike's house on the RIGHT. Mike will have further instructions about parking and a map later this week.

See you Saturday night.
