Tom O. Hunter, 68, a highly respected birder from Russell County, VA
died this morning. He had been ill for at least two years.
He was a long-time member of the Russell County
Bird Club, Bristol Bird Club and Buchanan County Bird Club.
Tom is survived by his wife, Laverne, and son John. Please
keep the family in your prayers and thoughts.
Visitation will be Sunday, 20 Sept, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at
Owens Funeral Service, Tate Street in Lebanon.
The funeral service will be Monday, 21 Sept, 2:00pm at
Lebanon Memorial United Methodist Church.
Interment will be at Ketron Memorial Gardens,
Main Street, Lebanon, VA
