Red-breasted Nuthatch (4) "Birds heard and clearly seen in conifers along
Rhododendron Trail and AT at high elevation. Medium-small sized nuthatch -
short tail, dark eye line and white eyebrow. Dark cap. Probably heard more
than four. Very conspicuous calls."
Golden-crowned Kinglet (3) "At high elevation. Calling back and forth as
GCKIs do. Clearly seen wing bar and yellow trimmed primaries / secondaries.
Eye line."
