Reece Jamerson, Gil Derouen, Charles Moore, and I birded some water
areas in Sullivan Cty. on Tuesday, Dec. 9. We had fog in the beginning
(8:30a.m.) at Piney Flats until we got to Musick's Campground at noon.
There it cleared up to continue as a nice, sunny day. Highlights:

We did not see the Rufous Hummingbird, but Mae Musick and Carol Carr
reported seeing it near their porch area several times earlier in the
morning.
Middlebrook Lake:
