I saw a Common Raven in Carden Hollow on my way to work this morning, within a
mile or two of the Bristol Motor Speedway and just outside the western end of
Steele Creek Park.
There was an Osprey over Steele Creek Lake this afternoon, the second I know of
this year. The first one I saw on March 8 over Steele Creek.
Other firsts for the year in the park were:
18 MAR 2022 - Rough-winged Swallow (1), and Barn Swallow (1)
21 MAR 2022 - Purple Martin (1 male & 1 female)
22 MAR 2022 - Fish Crow (1)
The Mute Swan that showed up Mar. 1 is still here. It seems quite tame and
presents good photo opportunities.
