The Bristol Bird Club's (BBC) annual Soup and Sparrows field trip is Saturday,
January 27th. Co-leaders of the outing are Roy Knispel and Larry McDaniel.
Birders planning on attending are asked to meet at Weir Dam at or around 8:00
a.m. Roy and Larry will lead participants looking for sparrows, waterfowl and
other wintering birds around Weir Dam and Osceola Island before breaking for
lunch at the Ruritan around 11:30 or 12:00 to enjoy their famous selection of
soups offered on this special day. This field trip is open to BBC members and
non-members alike and is regardless of your birding expertise. So get out and
enjoy the birds of our area as well as some warm soup!
