Area Birders:

This Thanksgiving morning I found a SNOW BUNTING near Musick's
Campground, South Holston Lake in Sullivan Co., TN.

The bird was near the main channel end of what we call Egret
Island. This is the peninsula just north of the campground
(since water level is down).

I was scanning for waterfowl when I saw the bunting moving on
the shore about 20 feet above the water.

The late fall has brought yet anothere TREE SWALLOW --
the third of the month. It was seen flying in and about Musick's
Campground feeding briefly before moving on.

Other birds there:

Dunlin 4
Horned Grebe 28
Killdeer 2
Eared Grebe 7
Common Coot 100
Common Loon 1
Pied-billed Grebe 12
Lesser Scaup 1
Bonaparte's Gull 30
Ring-billed Gull 9

Let's go birding....
