Observed all species reported yesterday except no Buff-breasted and only 1
Wilson's Phalarope.  Shorebird numbers somewhat lower.  Most were observed from
shore.  The shorebirds can be viewed from the pull-off along the railroad
tracks and the gulls from the end by the railroad bridge.  Buff-breasted may
still be present but most effort was spent finding and re-finding the Ruff.
Thanks to Rick for the report.  A few photos from long range of the Ruff and
gulls.

David Kirschke called to report that the  RUFF  found yesterday
is still present this morning.  He also saw at least 1 Wilson's
Phalarope.

He had not reached the area where the gulls were concentrated.
