[Bristol-Birds] Rough-legged Hawk continues, Greene Co, TN, 3/17/11

After work in Greene County I went to Joachim Bible Refuge (Lick Creek Bottoms
WMA) to try to photograph the Rough-legged Hawk reported previously. It was
observed perched over S Mohawk Rd between Bible Chapel and Murray Bridge Rds
and
on both side of the road. This is the general location it was observed soaring
this weekend. I had a great opportunity for a nice close-up shot, but a car
came by and flushed the bird. It appears to be a light-phase juvenile. I did
manage to shoot a couple diagnostic photos.

Also, on a tip from Rick Knight, I heard 2+ Am. Woodcock on the west end of
Charlie Carson Rd.
