Purple Finch - 1, female / immature
The annual winter finch forecast out of Ontario suggests that this
will be a good winter for Red-breasted Nuthatches and Purple Finches
to the south of that province.
We have already seen good numbers of the former all across Tennessee,
but this is the first Purple Finch that I have heard of in the state so far.
