I had several Palm Warblers on the walking trails near the wastewater treatment
plant in Elizabethton, TN on Saturday, Sept. 28, and also at the linear trail
in Erwin, TN (the wetlands boardwalk near the industrial park). I was birding
with Howard Langridge of Elizabethton.

On Saturday afternoon, in the woodlands around my home, Howard and I, along
with my mother, Peggy Stevens, observed a nice mixed flock. The species
included Tennessee Warbler, Chestnut-sided, Black-throated Blue and
Black-throated Green, Magnolia, Pine, Ovenbird, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks,
Red-breasted Nuthatches, Carolina Chickadees and Tufted Titmouse.

Bryan Stevens,
Hampton, TN

On Sunday, Sept. 29, I also had a Palm Warbler at home.
