Bristol Birders,
We spotted an Osprey today - our first this year in Buchanan
County - while walking along the Levisa River. The Osprey was
calling as it flew up and down the river several times before
landing on a dead snag. We also heard our first Wood Thrushes of
the year - on points overlooking each side of the river. Two Yellow
Warblers were spotted in the poplar trees along the river and a
Black-throated Green Warbler was heard on the mountain. Nice way to
end the workday.
