Chris O'Bryan and Wallace Coffey heard an Olive-sided Flycatcher singing
loudly at close range from a stream-side stand of Hemlock trees on the
northern face of Holston Mountain in Sullivan Co., TN this afternoon (May
27). The call was heard repeatedly for about five minutes. When we walked
closer in an attempt to see the bird, it quit calling and we were not able
to find it. The call seemed to be coming from the canopy. The bird is most
likely a migrant but we will check the site again in the near future.

Let's go birding....
