29 December 2007
Washington County, VA

Just because I have reported all of the others and it has been such a
"shrikingly" good week, here are four more Loggerhead Shrike records.

Rob Biller, Don Holt (whoops! sneaked in under Wallace's update radar...sorry
Wallace), and I assisted in the Glade Springs Christmas Bird Count today
(12/29/07) and located four Loggerhead Shrikes within our count section (Area
E). This section is in the southwest region of the count circle (southwest of
Glade Springs, VA).

The birds were located on:
Road 803 (2)
Road 735 (1)
Road 720 (1)

For myself, that's eight shrikes in the past five days.
