[Bristol-Birds] Merlin & Gray-cheeked Thrush - Elizabethton Walkway (Carter Co., TN)

Elizabethton Walkway 


Cathy Myers and I had a good mix of birds on the Elizabethton Walkway this 
morning. We spent about three hours and tallied 51 species (including 13 
species of warblers). 

Highlights and such: 
Chimney Swift (22) 
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (1) 
Merlin (1) - terrorizing birds at the Elizabethton Twins picnic park; made 
three unsuccessful passes 
Eastern Wood-Pewee (2) 
House Wren (2) 
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (1) 
Gray-cheeked Thrush (1) 
Swainson's Thrush (2) 
Gray Catbird (2) 
Tennessee Warbler (9) 
Common Yellowthroat (2) 
American Redstart (7)
