On Saturday, 9/13/08, Rob Biller and I counted hawks from 9:45 am to 5:15 pm at
the Mendota Fire Tower in Washington County VA.
Broad-winged Hawks - 53
Osprey - 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1
Cooper's Hawk - 1
Other birds of note included
Sharp-shinned Hawk (uncounted local)
Red-tailed Hawk
Hairy Woodpecker
Red-eyed Vireo
Commons Ravens
Black-throated Green Warbler
