Katherine Higgins and I saw about 10 longspurs near Limestone on Saturday.
They were in a weedy field southeast of the FWB church on the right side of Old
Highway 34, you get to Keebler Road. The longspurs were in a red maple in the
yard of a house across route 34 when we arrived, but soon flew down into the
old field area. There were a number of song sparrows feeding there, as well as
one savannah sparrow and two goldfinches.

Coordinates for the location are 36.2202°N, 82.6265°W
