James Wright at Colonia Heights in Kingsport, TN
continues to watch hawks from his back deck high
atop a ridge overlooking the area. He got this photo
a day or two ago when one went into a power dive.
Not a great amount of detail but it has enough markings
to be a Broad-winged Hawk. They nested in his yard
this summer.
