Bristol Area Birders:

Ron Harrington and I have spent a portion of the last couple of days
providing information and interviews for Jack Kestner who writes a column in
the Sunday edition of the Bristol Herald Courier. Kestner has written
about birds in his popular column for years. He was recently contacted by
Malcolm Sprinkle (South Holston Lake, across from Musick's Campground) and
told that no birds were coming to Sprinkle's feeder this winter and he was
concerned. Ron and I provided Kestner copies of the Bristol and Glade
Spring Christmas Bird Count data and talked about certain aspects of birds
at winter feeders. I know all of you will want to get a copy of the Sunday
newspaper and read what Kestner has for his long-time loyal readers. We
also want to welcome Kestner as a new subscriber to Bristol-Birds Net.

Let's go birding....
