[Bristol-Birds] Hooded Merganser at Middlebrook Lake

A female Hooded Merganser was found at Middlebrook Lake,
in east Bristol  today (11/3).  Also present were 3 American Coots.

This is the first 2003 fall record reported for the Hooded Merganser.
Last fall's early bird was 21 Oct 2002.

The pond across the road from the lake has two Mute Swans.

Musick's Campground had 5 Green-winged Teal and and a
Double-crested Cormorant among other more frequent species.
