[Bristol-Birds] Herndon Bird Club June Meeting at TIPTON-HAYNES HISTORIC SITE

TheJune meeting of the Herndon Bird Club will be held on Tuesday, June 2, at the Tipton-Haynes Historic Site on South Roan St. in Johnson City (NOT, as usual, at the Milligan College Science Building). The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

Agenda items include:
Planning of the summer single county counts:
Unicoi County Summer Count on Saturday, June 6
Carter County Summer Count on Saturday, June 13

Some specific planning of the Club summer picnic, to be held Saturday, July 11, at the Harris Pavilion at Rotary Park in Johnson City on the east side on Broadway. We have use of the pavilion from 4 to 9 p.m. and will plan to eat at about 6 p.m.

The June meeting program will be a presentation by club member Don Holt, Naturalist at the Steele Creek Park in Bristol, on The Migration of Dragonflies and Birds.

Prior to the meeting, attendees are invited to meet for dinner and socializing at 5:30 p.m. at ARBY's on South Roan in Johnson City--across from the ONE STOP store.

ALL ARE INVITED to the MEETING AND TO ARBY'S for dinner beforehand.
