The Herndon Bird Club will have a field trip Saturday March 9 in the afternoon.
One objective is to view Woodcock display flights at the Weir Dam.
Meet at Musick's Campground at 3:00 p.m. (or so) to view water fowl. From
there, participants will have dinner at Little Italy on Hwy 421 and view
waterfowl and hopefully woodcock at the Weir Dam (not necessarily in this
order--that will be decided by the participants before they leave Musick's
Campground).
