On Oct. 31, I made stops at Rasar Farm, Wilbur Lake and The Watauga Lake
Overlook, all in Carter County, TN, near Elizabethton.

At Rasar, I had three Gadwall, three Wood Ducks, a Ring-necked Duck and several
Mallards. Also had three Swamp Sparrows.

At Wilbur, two Bufflehead drakes were the first, to my knowledge, to arrive at
this lake where up to a couple of hundred sometimes winter. Also had Wood Ducks
and Mallards.

At the Watauga Overlook, had a raft of about 16 Ring-necked Ducks.
