Hunter Observers: John Whinery Visitors: Gene Cox Weather: Cloudy early in the day then becoming partly cloudy then back to cloudy again before evening. Temperatures were from 66 to 75 F and winds were light and from the S and SW most of the day. Raptor Observations: A few Broad-winged Hawks came through today in groups of 4 or 5 then 10 then a couple of groups of 20 plus. A good showing of Cooper's Hawks and our first Golden Eagle of the season. Non-raptor Observations: 15 Monarchs but no Red-headed Woodpeckers.
