Weather:
The day started with mostly cloudy skies and fog in the valleys on both
sides of the mountain.  The clouds gradually broke up as the as the day
progressed to mostly sunny conditions, with good thermals and plenty of
clouds for a backdrop. 

Raptor Observations:
Some of the larger kettles of hawks were at the limit of 10X binoculars,
far out over the valleys both northwest and southeast of the tower.
