[Bristol-Birds] GBBC 2/17/12

Friday 2/17/12 I went with Tom to bird amd compile a GBBC
The highlights were 3 Golden Eagles, 1 Loggershrike, and 1 Merlin
Eagle #1 was perched on an outcropping of rock on Bear Town Mtn Ided with
scope and goldmantle when the bird turned in the sun
Eagle #2 was in flight behind Stuart's Pond
Eagle #3 was in the vacinity of House and Barn Mtn
The shrike was near 40 foot bridge
The Merlin flew across the road in a streaking glide in front of the truck and
on behind the third barn from the intersection of Ken's Ridge and Clifton Farm
Road
We tallied a total of 33 species
