Dear Paul & June Kingsbury,

Please join us for the Cranberry Festival in Shady Valley
<http://support.nature.org/site/R?i=f7LeYBXrrfBIR6rpClCajQ..> , Johnson
County, Tennessee. We look forward to this event every October and hope
to see you this year on Saturday, October 10.

With the support of Conservancy members like you, we have worked to
preserve and restore the last of the mountain bogs
<http://support.nature.org/site/R?i=Gbm2W6WTnC4-wHfOdw5qSA..> in Shady
Valley for 30 years.

Our bog restorations have been identified as the single most important
factor in the long-term protection of rare wetland species such as the
bog turtle and the wild cranberry.

This beautiful and unusual place is home to many rare plants and animals
more commonly known to northern environments, and is one of only two
places in Tennessee where wild cranberries grow naturally.

Come see how our garden grows
<http://support.nature.org/site/R?i=0qW2a0p6Q6hGJqK87KDDYQ..> during
the Cranberry Festival on Saturday, October 10.

The celebration starts in the morning with a community pancake breakfast
at the Shady Valley Volunteer Fire Hall, followed by a parade through
Shady Valley with floats, tractors, horses and marching bands. We invite
you to join us for free tours of our cranberry bogs
<http://support.nature.org/site/R?i=wRkSbRMeKmfR5RctVkb04Q..> from noon
until 4 p.m. It's good fun for the entire family.

Visit us online for directions

information, or call our office in Shady Valley at (423) 739-2537.

We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
