The reservation deadline is nearing for the 64th annual banquet of the
Bristol Bird Club. Tuesday September 29th is the last date to mark your
spot to hear the special speaker engaged for the presentation of the program
for this event, Mr. Jesse B. Pope, Jr., the Executive Director of
Grandfather Mountain at Newland, NC. Mr. Pope is a leading birder,
conservationist and state leader of Audubon and the Carolina Bird Club. He
is an experienced naturalist and program presenter. I feel the majority of
birders and nature lovers in this area will want to hear Mr. Pope share
gorgeous photos from Western North Carolina and some of his personal
knowledge with us.
All regional birders and interested persons are welcome. You do not have to
be a member of the Bristol Bird Club. Come enjoy the evening and, perhaps,
make new friends among our friendly birders.
Leading up to the program we will have a delicious dinner consisting of:
Stuffed Chicken Breasts with gravy, Cubed Steak with gravy, Fluffy Mashed
Potatoes, Green Beans, Broccoli Slaw, Rolls, Pumpkin Pie with French Vanilla
Cool Whip, Coffee, Tea and Water. We will be meeting in the spacious and
modern Family Life Center on Friday, October 2, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the
Addilynn Memorial United Methodist Church in Bristol Tennessee. The price is
$16.00 per person which will not only cover expenses for our excellent
speaker but also the delicious and plentiful buffet.

Club. Reservations must be made by Tuesday the 29th of September. Please
remember if you make a reservation you will be asked to pay for it as we
will be obligated to pay for the number we report to the ladies of the
