The 80th Elizabethton Spring Count was held 6 May covering Carter Co. and parts
of adjacent Johnson, Sullivan, Washington, & Unicoi Cos., with 35 observers
in 16
parties and 2 feeder watchers.
We tallied 153 species, which is exactly the average of the last 20 years. The
all-time high was 166 species in 2016.
