Hi Roy -   Viewing from shore at Rankin Bottoms is just fair at 986' (scope 
required) & is best from 982 to 978.  At the current level of 987.5, better 
bring a canoe.  I'm in SC at the moment, should be on the water at Rankin early 
next week, & will report.
