Rankin Bottoms - Leadvale, Cocke & Jefferson county, 10am-12:30pm, by canoe
with Gayle Rice & Ann --, also observed from shore
Lake elevation: 982.4 ft - nearly 3 ft. higher than a week ago

The lake has risen to cover nearly all the mudflats - so, there's much less
shorebird habitat. TVA will start drawing down the lake again on Monday
evening.

An American Avocet was still present, seen after walking the orange-flagged
trail from the parking lot halfway between the WMA entrance & the tipple.
