Subject: Current Finch Count- Backyard
i have about 100 siskins this morning, on thursday i stopped counting at 150.
they're eating anything and everything. i have 2 large finch feeders and two
platform feeders i fill with shelled sunflower seeds. i'm going through about 2
lbs of sunflower each day.
everyone seems so excited for pine siskins to show up but i find them dirty and
bossy.
i'd love a couple of purple finches though!
