Bristol Birders, Michelle and I spent about four hours this morning hiking Bull Mountain here in Buchanan County. It was a great morning of spring birding and we found several new species for 2004. Highlights included Blue-winged and Hooded Warblers, American Redstart, and Ovenbirds. We jumped two Ruffed Grouse along the way. For those interested, here is a link to some pictures and a trip write-up. http://www.grundynet.net/talbott/birding/hikes/Spr04/BullMt2.htm Ed Talbott Buchanan County Bird Club ************************************************* BRISTOL BIRDS NET LIST Bristol Birds Net Photo Gallery located at: http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jwcoffeyy/album?.dir=/efd5 This is a regional birding list sponsored by the Bristol Bird Club to facilitate communications between birders and bird clubs of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. -------------------------------------------------- You are subscribed to Bristol-Birds.
